The tall ships Niña and Pinta are coming!
May 11-21, 2017

The Niña and the Pintawill arrive in Downtown Wilmington May 10th, 2017 and open for tours May 11-21, 2017. Berthing will be at Port City Marina in downtown Wilmington adjacent to the Convention Center and PPD. This event is brought to you by Wilmington Harbor Enhancement Trust (WHET) and Port City Marina.  Tickets are $8 Adults, $7 Seniors/Military, $6 children 5-16, Free children 4 and under. Group tours of 15 or more are available for school groups, museums, scouts, and camps for $5 per person. Group tours need to book in advance. Tickets are available online and will also be on sale at Port City Marina on the days of the tours. Tours are May 11th – May 20th, 9AM to 6PM.

Festivities begin Friday May 19th, with a taste of local entertainment and fun at our various partners venues, bars and restaurants. Saturday the 20th is Car Show Day, participants are invited to come down beginning at 9:00AM to get admitted and parked, with the show starting at 11:00AM to the public.

Getting Here

Wilmington is a walkable downtown – all you have to do is park and let your feet show you the way. Parking is easy and convenient in the City parking decks. Located at 115 Market Street (with entrances on Market Street between Second and Front Streets, and on Second Street between Princess and Market Streets) and at 114 N. Second Street (with entrances on both Second Street and Third Street between Princess and Chestnut Streets), parking is free for the first hour.
